Q: What is the minimum amount of fabric I can order?
A: At Rooted we emphasize no minimums!  Fabric sizes start at 8"x 8" swatches.

Q: Why should I order a swatch?
A: Swatches allow you to test your pattern to be sure it is exactly what you want. Colors vary depending on your computer monitor. Also, very thin lines may not print as sharply as you may prefer.  Ordering a swatch will save you time and money!

Q: Can I preview the repeat or print before final production?
A: Yes! We prepare a jpeg proof for all of our orders with the exception of swatch prints.  We will send you the jpeg proof for approval before we proceed with the final production of your fabric. If you need to make changes to your repeat you may do so at this point in time.

Q: I have a design, but I need help creating my repeat pattern. Can you help me?
A: Yes! We have a full design staff in our New Jersey workshop. For a modest fee we can assist you in preparing files for print.  Please email us for more details.

Q: What is the maximum length of fabric I can order?
A: We can print up to 49 continuous yards of fabric.

Q: Can you sew something that is not shown on your website?
A: We can sew a lot of decor items. If you need something that is not shown on our website please email us and we can let you know if we can do it!

Q: Can I order finished products on your website using your fabric designs?
A: Of course!  Just order the finished product and correct amount of fabric and we will make it for you.

Q: How long will it take for my order to ship?
A: Depending on the size of your order it may ship anywhere from 4 days - 14 days after order placement.

Q: What file types can I upload?
A: We can accept .ai, .psd, .jpeg, .tiff, .eps files for printing. Eventually all files are converted to .tiff format. Therefore, we recommend you convert your own file to .tiff prior to uploading to be sure nothing changes in the file conversion. If you can't do it, we'll do it for you.

Q: How do I upload my files?
A: Upon completion of payment for your order you will see an "order confirmation" page. On that page you will have the opportunity to upload your artwork for printing.
