Rad Fashion Friday: In-A-Minute Looped Headband

Right after I got out of work yesterday, my friend Alexis called me to come up to the city for karaoke night. I’ve got no time for a shower and my hair’s lookin’ gross, so I need an updo…STAT! This looped headband takes 15 minutes to make and looks cuter than a sack of puppies.

Project Time:

15 mins

Items Needed:

Knit/stretch fabric scraps

Step 1) NO TIME FOR PATTERNS! JUST CUT THE FABRIC!

  • Cut two pieces of fabric 22 inches long and 6 inches wide. Make sure you cut WITH THE STRETCH or this will not fit on your noggin.

Step 2) SEW THAT BAD BOY

  • Fold each piece in half and sew with ½ inch seam allowance.

Step 3) TURN IT INSIDE OUT (find nothin’ but faith in nothin’…wanna put my tender heart in a blender….90’s alterna rock sidetrack)

Step 5) DO THIS THING

Step 6) STITCH IT! (You've got 5 mins to wrap this up before you gotta go!)

  • Sew those loose ends together. Doesn’t matter what seam allowance, just so long as all the pieces are secure.

Step 7) PUT IT ON AND GET TO KARAOKE ON TIME!

Seriously, you're runnin late, leave already! They're waiting for you to sing Moon River!
